I've been working on quite a few new cocktail idea I've been working on quite a few new cocktail ideas recently.... its all still a bit under wraps but as soon as I have some firm news I will let you all know - more news to follow in the coming month.​​​​​​​​ 🥜​​​​​​​​ For today's celebrations, World Cocktail Day I'll share this one, definitely a favourite of mine from last year. It's a Shellys take on a sour, using the Peanut butter rum from my range of sprits. What I love about this one - so simple to make at home and so utterly delicious.​​​​​​​​ 🥜​​​​​​​​ Shellys Peanut butter Sour​​​​​​​​ 🥜​​​​​​​​ 50ml shot of Shellys Peanut butter rum​​​​​​​​ 25ml lemon juice​​​​​​​​ 1 large egg white​​​​​​​​ 1.5 tbls Maple Syrup​​​​​​​​ 🥜​​​​​​​​ Combine all the ingredients in your shaker with a decent handful of ice and shake. Strain into coupe glasses and garnish with an orange peel twist. A couple of weeks back I was in Swindon at the Gin A couple of weeks back I was in Swindon at the Gin & Rum festival and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by the popularity of my Manchester Tart flavoured gin. ​​​​​​​​ I sold out, Swindon you loved it. ​​​​​​​​ 🍒​​​​​​​​ This drink was inspired by one of my favourite puddings - The nostalgic Manchester Tart. If you've never come across one a Manchester tart is a pastry case with raspberry in the bottom then a lovely smooth vanilla custard which is sprinkled with coconut and a single cherry to the top. ​​​​​​​​ 🍒​​​​​​​​ Some say there are sliced banana's involved but we didn't include any in our gin based spirit drink.
