The following explains our responsibilities regarding your order with us, and how your transaction will be handled. It’s not particularly interesting to read but is important for you to understand these terms & conditions when you shop with us.

Buying Products On Shellys Drinks Website

By placing an order with Shellys Drinks, you acknowledge to have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us at shop@shellysdrinks.com before placing your order with us.

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.

We have taken care to describe and show items as accurately as possible but despite this, slight variations in items may occur. All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates.

Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this website.

We may refuse at our discretion to accept an order:

  1. Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
  2. If there has been a pricing or product description error; or
  3. If you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
  4. Where goods ordered by you are not available;
  5. If we do not deliver to your area;

Where we do not accept your order but have processed your payment, we will re-credit your account with any amount deducted by us from your debit or credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to pay any additional amount as compensation for disappointment.

By placing an order with us you are confirming that you are over 18 and agree to an electronic age verification check to confirm this. By placing an order, you consent to a credit data search, which will leave an ID check footprint. If we cannot confirm your age via an electronic check we reserve the right to request proof of age and/or decline to fulfil your order. Orders cannot be dispatched until your age has been verified regardless of your chosen shipping option selected.

It is an offence to attempt to buy alcohol if you are under 18 years of age or to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol for persons under the age of 18.

You may pay for your purchases using any major credit card including Visa, MasterCard or American Express and you will receive confirmation of payment via email.

Payment shall be due before delivery. If payment fails your order will be cancelled. There will be no delivery until clear funds have been received.

Processing Your Order & Delivery

If your order is received by 12 noon Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), we’ll do our best to dispatch it the same day. Please note that our delivery dates may be affected by public holidays and some geographic locations.

We deliver across the UK via Royal Mail using a tracked 48 hour service. We require a signature and age verification for all goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature and age verification by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by Shellys Drinks and transfer of responsibility in the same way.

If possible, please check the condition of your parcel before you sign for it. If the contents at all damaged, please send us images to shop@shellysdrinks.com stating your order number.

To purchase products from Shellys Drinks, you must be of legal age to buy alcohol in the country in which you reside. The delivery person will require you to provide proof of age if they consider you to be below the legal age to purchase alcohol.

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to addresses outside the UK at the moment. You may place an order for Product(s) from outside the UK if you have a UK billing address for your credit or debit card, but the order must be for delivery to an address within the UK.

 

Delivery Options & Restrictions

Standard 72 hour tracked delivery – £3.90 (aim to deliver within 3 working days)

Excluding the following postcodes – BT, GY, HS, IM, JE, KW, PA60-75, PA78, PH30, PH41-44, ZE2 & ZE3 please contact us at shop@shellysdrinks.com if you require delivery to these locations.

Standard 24 hour delivery – £7.80 (aim to deliver the next working day)

You must order before 12 noon for next day delivery but please note deliveries are not made on Saturdays and Sundays. Excluding the following postcodes – GY, HS, IM, JE, KW15-17, PA49, PA60-PA75, PA78, PH30, PH41-PH44, ZE2-ZE3 please contact us at shop@shellysdrinks.com if you require delivery to these locations.

Please note that any orders placed between 12 noon on Friday and midnight Sunday will be dispatched on Tuesday.

We reserve the right to upgrade your delivery to a better service at our cost.

We currently only dispatch items within the UK.

Delivery should normally be made by 5:30pm but you will be able to track your parcel.

Delivery timescales are set by the couriers.

 

Availability

All items are subject to availability. We will inform and refund you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

 

Returns & Exchanges

For cancellations or returns please contact us via e-mail at shop@shellysdrinks.com Depending on circumstances, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the goods ordered, we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible. We may require you to return the goods to us in the original packaging as soon as reasonably practicable. Refunds will be for the price paid for goods only and will not include and the price paid for shipping.
